TODAY'S THE DAY 7-WEEK FITNESS COACHING PLAN
“What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 1:9) It’s very true, particularly of weight loss and fitness plans. There are hundreds of “diets” out there. It can be pretty overwhelming trying to choose a plan that’s right for you.
You are a unique one-of-a-kind creation – one size doesn’t fit all - especially when it comes to health and nutrition. We are all bio-chemically unique. I have found the most effective approach is to put basic, foundational principles for good health in place and then customize them for your particular needs and physiology. This fitness plan incorporates wisdom and principles from the Bible as well as a variety of excellent diets and nutritional plans by respected health and fitness experts and doctors.
It’s called “Today’s the Day” based on Exodus 8:9, 10: When Moses told Pharoah to decide when he should rid the land of the frogs and unbelievably, Pharaoh said, “Tomorrow!!” How often do we do the same thing? I’ll start a diet tomorrow – begin exercising tomorrow – stop drinking diet soda tomorrow. There is no “tomorrow!” There is only today. So Today’s the Day! – don’t wait any longer! If you are wondering why 7 weeks – 7 is the number of perfection in the Bible and science has proven our body regenerates cells and tissues, creating a new body every 7 years.
The "Today’s the Day 7-Week Fitness Plan” is based on my 3-D Living Plan, which applies four simple keys (Detox, Fuel, Exercise and Rest) to spirit, soul and body. The basics of the plan include:
Week One: Get Ready
Week Two: Detox – Body
Week Three: Detox – Spirit and Soul
Week Four: Nourish/Fuel
Week Five: Intentional Exertion/Exercise
Week Six: Rest and Reboot
Week Seven: Put it All Together
This plan addresses weight loss, of course, but in addition you will be retraining your taste buds and appetite, reducing inflammation, balancing blood glucose levels and cholesterol as well as addressing the five major signs of aging.
