Quite often, especially during the cold winter months, I enjoy a big mug of bone broth daily. When I do a fast or modified fast, bone broth is usually an important part of my day. I can't always make a batch from scratch so using powdered bone broth solves the problem.

There are quite a few high quality bone broth powders you can purchase to make this easier and I take advantage of this! I like keeping this on hand and then all I have to do is put a heaping scoop in my mug, add some boiling water and enjoy.

I often like to boost my bone broth. I figure why not get the most bang for my nutritional buck?

I often include a scoop of MCT Oil Powder and I always add about a quarter teaspoon of Himalayan Crystal Salt.

Depending on my mood, I enjoy adding different herbs and spices, including:

Turmeric

Onion Powder

Chili Spice

Ancho Chili Spice

Rosemary

Seasoned Salt

Sage

Coriander

Garlic Mix

Ginger

Curry Powder

You get the idea - the only limit is your imagination and what appeals to you at the moment.

Something else I like to do occasionally is add a generous tablespoon of Chick Pea Miso and stir it into my cup of broth. It adds probiotics and a nice salty bite.
